The President's Ire Is Directed at the Wrong People

The president hit a raw nerve with what I would call the Blackboard economists, right? The people who've been in academia for a long, long time. They don't seem to ever have done other jobs beyond that. And maybe as a result of that, might have a slightly narrow view of the world. That's what he was having to go at. He agreed with an awful lot of what he was saying, but it felt to me his ire was directed at the wrong people. It wasn't so much the economists. It was more the policy and policy makers.
