The Importance of a Male Leader
I think this argument has been made throughout church history, that it is more fitting that God becoming carnit in a male because men are more dignified or more like God. I don't think anyone would articulate that today. But the way in which an Aristotelian logic, the preference for the male can manifest in certain times. And while no one would say that today, maybe some would say, since God is a leader and men are leaders, Jesus needs to be a male leader.
