How to Not Look at Stock Prices in the Market?

I think it's really hard to simulate in reading a book what it's like to live through a market crash, for instance. To actually be in that moment for two years of markets just grinding you lower is a very, very different experience than reading it in a book. The psychology is night and day difference, right? So I think we're a little bit sanguine about what it really is to live inside of a market crash. You can't really experience that inside of a book. And it's hard to think about the right thing to do in that kind of panic state.
