The Dual Aspect Theory of Pain

The dual aspect theory that we've talked about sounds to me like Spinoza, right? But Spinoza put that in terms of mind and body he was reacting to Descartes. And so there is a mental aspect, a consciousness aspect to my body. So it seems like all these things that we might say, oh, I know the inside of things. I have this special access. That shows me what will is. Well, still, all the specific instances turn out to be perceptions of some presentation. If I desire something, I'm feeling hot or whatever the feelings are, but there are always presentations involved.
