The Role of Merger and Acquisition in Revenue Growth
For 45% of stall companies that you studied revenue growth rates actually accelerated into the stalls this is building on what we talked about only 42% experienced decreasing revenue growths before their stall year. RCA was a remarkable enterprise founded by legendary character people referred to him as the general David Sarnoff who built the RCA broadcasting empire. His son Robert I think took over the firm and in a kind of tragic miscalculation led the company to conclude that the era of innovation in consumer electronics was over.
