Non-annanct scans show the acute thrombosis as hyperdense, while non-annanced T1 and T2 weighted MRI scans lack the usual flow void at the thrombous location. In rare instances, subarachnoid hemorrhage may be the lone imaging sign of cerebral venous sinus Thrombosis.
