The Politics of Oppenheimer

The movie does perceptively explore this stuff in ways that again undercut the heroic aspect of its protagonist. The stakes are somehow lowered, but they're played up with this unbelievably like the blurring wall of sound becomes ever more blurring as the stakes get lower and lower. It's not crazy to not give him a security clearance, right? It's not like he's being sent to jail or something.
