The self-sensoring was huge. I know a lot of scientists that when you brought up the topic, it doesn't matter what side they were or the side thing is silly,. When you bring up COVID-19, it was just, oh, please, they didn't want to talk about it and certainly weren't going to publicly talk about it. Even things they knew for years, like when it was proclaimed, there was no such thing as acquired natural immunity. Of course. Well, that's an undergraduate textbook and yet it was unspeakable. So people were silent and they censored themselves. And I do not blame them because the odds of being successful and being heard
