The Limits of Risk-Based Payment in Medicaid
I think being paid on an outcomes basis is always possible, as long as you can measure what you're doing. I feel like while there weren't that many people building these risk-based businesses before, now it seems like everybody wants to take on risk for every set of patients. And so again, going toward things that sound good, you'll have some people talk about a very heavy clinical model applied to the broad Medicaid population.
