Are We Going to Have to Do Something Dramatic to Fix It?
There's been a debate about the extent to which some of this inflation might be temporary because it's concentrated so heavily in parts of the economy that are disproportionately affected by the pandemic. So i think the question is more like, given what has already happened, do we think this is going to fix itself? or are we going to have to do something drastic to fix it? And i'm still on the view that it should probably mostly get fixed on its own if we fix everything else, which is a big cavia. But that's fundamentally, i think, wat the issue is,. It's not the same kind of problem as, oh, people are just spending away too much money
