Even the catholic church consists of 24 churches. The main reference in each case is the particular theological rendering of god and or jesus unique to that particular denomination. Unlike christianity or other monotheisms, there is no central organizing deity with whom to cultivate a relationship. Your only task is to discover that you are what you seek. And as campbell was fond of saying, to become transparent to the transcendent.
