Imagine a catastrophe that doesn't result in human extinction, but is so bad that it can send us back to the teal levels of technology. It's a question, would we recover from that? As in, would we just stay as farmers forever? Or would we re develop or science and indust like post industrial technology? And again, i have a chapter in this book discussing that quest. I actually come out very optimistic. E is just more there.
