The Importance of Forgiveness

In Matthew 1822, Jesus tells Peter to forgive 70 times seven. This is one of the greatest evidences that forgiveness is not feelings based because being sinned against repeatedly does not create a great feeling of wanting to forgive. We might even set some healthy boundaries with people because of conflict and that doesn't mean we aren't forgiving.
