Introduction
Silla is an open-source database that runs on top of the Linux kernel. The company started with a unicarnal, which means it's designed to run in its own process. Turso was created by Silla co-founders Avi and Dore Mikhaelov after they left Red Hat for KVM. "I've always been like very passionate, very project oriented," says Mikkelov.
