The Importance of Controlling the Narrative

I mean, the thing about controlling the narrative is the thing I was referring to when I was talking about how you have to put forward this image of knowledge. So a question that I had, I mean, you were saying there's no good reason why you would want to keep the information secret. It occurs to me like there are all kinds of contexts where we let people keep stuff secret,. Like a patent or whatever, right? Why does McDonald's keep its ingredients and its special sauce to be secret? And the answer is competition, right? That is we've been a big society. We've decided that it's more efficient.
