Porkes, a film about high school boys who see girls and women as existing only to be augled and defiled, was a box office smash. Fast times at ridgmont high is largely told through the eyes and experience of its youngest, most vulnerable female character,. played by 19 year old jenifer jason lee. The longevity of these films is interesting in part because they were assumed to be disposable the time of their release.
