Jewish Philanthropy on Campus
There's a tremendous amount of investment that takes place by jewish community and jewish philanthropy in a setting, much of it doesn't any more route through the formal educational structure of the university. But i do feel very concerned increasingly, that the jewish studies faculty may find themselves, because of their, you know, playing it straight philosophy, increasingly marginalized from these identity ponsfix conversations that are happening on campus. And i think that that needs to be addressed very clearly,. Because we are there, and i think that we do have some role to play without, youknow, jeopardizing our academic credentials.
