The Fed's Predictions for Unemployment
Unemployment will start to go up if it does slowly. And it could jump in a couple of months but at this point the Fed is not expecting that to happen. So it's not going to be what their focus is in terms of short-term economic policy. Even if it does go up, they all said we're not going to lower rates if unemployment starts to rise because we still need to bring inflation down.
