The concept of losing weight is very simple. Eat less than you need to maintain your current weight and you will in return lose weight. Yo-yo dieting because the concept is simple, but it is not an easy journey. So why do we complicate things? We intentionally overcomplicate it. Two, I think it's an insecurity. Three, simple doesn't sell.
