There's almost an inverse relationship between the amount of animal sources of protein in a diet and total daily protein intake. This has been researched in like that looked at vegetarians and like they're habitually consuming lower protein intakes. The point a grand per kilo of body weight makes no distinction between omnivores, any iteration of vegetarian diet or vegans.
