The Great Day of Light

This event has been given many titles by saints and holy people, including the mother of god. It is also understood that this will precede other apocalyptic events. One of these, as you would expect if everyone suddenly got a glimpse of their spiritual state before god, is a massive wave of versions - though not every one will convert.
