Does Anybody Really Care About Imperial Measures?
The government is trying to get a few headlines talking about switching back to imperial measures. Survey shows that when it comes to reintroducing imperial into shops, people tend to be supportive. 61% say that it's not important whether or not shops use imperial or metric. Only only 30 % of people say that it is. We contacted the department for business energy and industrial strategy, which ran the consultation. And they told us this was an initial stage consultation.
