The Importance of Arguments
A large portion of young people believe that it is morally reprehensible to let, quote unquote, evil people speak. Conversely, Mill says that even if all men in the world agreed on something and there was one dissenter, he should not be silenced. If you're interested in truth, you have to let all sides speak. You have to get the strongest counter arguments to your own view. That's the foundation of confidence that you have the truth.
