Deep Throat

There could not have been a single deep throat, but there was probably several that were melted into a single character. One of the e investigative teams for the los angeles times also publicly felt that this was the likely explanation for deep throat's identity. For a long time, i believe this was the case too. Thought this as a literary device to propel the book and give it a mysterious central character.
