The Supreme Court Is Like a Super Legislative Assembly

The supreme court, in so many ways, is like this kind of super legislature. It has the power to determine which laws an and can't be passed by the actual legislature that's elected to government. And it's the intersection of those two dynamics that produces the moment yeand i guess that can explain why the court has drifted so far to the right when the population has drifted so left. The justices have such diametrically opposed views, yet they're so chummy.
