I deny that there are such things as contrastive facts. So when you say P rather than Q, you're not really saying anything more than P and not Q. And so the fact that God values the existence of rational beings besides God's self, for instance, explains why God created this world and partly explains why God didn't refrain from creating. But it's not, it doesn't necessitate that he did create this one. It doesn't necessitating.
