You write about novels worth abandoning and or salvaging. How do you make that decision for yourself? And what advice have you given to others? Yes, it's a tricky business, isn't it? Maybe it's the middle of the book cindro am to to salvage this. That might be theery incentive to transform something that seems familiar into something never seen before.
