Mike Berners-Lee: We need to create a situation in which if a person is not seen to be careful with the truth, they are completely laughed out of politics. If you're wondering about which politician to vote for, just ask yourself really carefully, how careful are they with the truth? And if you're not comfortable with that they are, then don't vote for them or at least vote for someone who's more honest than others. He says we as societies have to be fundamentally honest with each other and holding our politicians and leaders to account. "We can do something about this while we've still got some democracy left"
