Larry carlton slides up his neck, he his this triad, and he slides up to a d triad for that g major seven cord. It's almost like he's picking up the note that max bennet dropped and flinging it upward. I love that kind of thing, when a base player just chooses this moment and steps forward. Helpmetinam tio.
