Mac OS X: A Novel Operating System
Serenity is an operating system based on the Unix command line. It has ports of, I think, 200 pieces of software that have been ported to work on Serenity. We don't actually have a built in command line text editor. But you can build them and install it if you want to. If you ever wanted to work on a command line editors, this would be a place to start.
