Are Centre Left Goals a Good Idea?
i would again push back at a little characterization here. When you talk about these goals, are centre left goals, i think you should, in good faith accept that there everybody's goals. And the only argument is about meanis right, that we want everyone to be educated, we want every ane to be healthy. How do we get there? And what the economic right would argue is that, you know, good intentions and the coercive power of the state won't get you there. We have to unleash the power of markets and society to help itself. So give me a better sense of this structure over all, hum how how powerful is the centre? How powerful are the states?
