Diversity Is the Bread and Butter
Diversity in all its forms is beneficial even if some people are assholes or some robots are assholes. So they could be a huge benefit to having fixed AI systems, say we build an AGI system and deploying millions of them that are exactly the same. I think that as long as we can tolerate some of that, it may turn into something better. You may change the rules because it's so much more efficient to do something that was actually against the rules before. And we've seen society change over time, quite a bit along those lines.
