The Importance of Conformity
The saint is not somebody who has like some sort of Gnostic privileged access to God's mind and God's will, but the saint is one who's conformed to Christ. And ultimately, this concern arises out of his love, love and desire for us more than we want for ourselves. We need to step out of the mindset that like, I need to figure out what God wants for me so as to go after it because in the end, it's a trap. So my real life is here. And whether or not it seems better or worse by comparison to the person on my right is a kind of uninteresting claim.
