I think the church is in America in many ways, culturally captive to these various political movements. Half of it's kind of the Constantinian version of Christianity. The other ones are Greco Roman and religious pluralism. We can see both these realities very clearly. And that says a last question is I think about people who they want what you just said. They want the kingdom of God, not just on Sunday morning or in the small group,. But yet they find that countervailing pressures outside of them are often winning the battle.
