The Role of the United States in the Cold War

In 1950, under the leadership of Secretary Dean Atchison, they recently formed National Security Council. NSC was commissioned to assess the Soviet threat and outline an American response. The upshot was NSC paper number 68, the document that guided U.S. strategy during the Cold War. Today's tyranny is that basically Reno says we do not live in a free country. Ours is certainly not like Nazi Germany or communist Russia.
