Just create some distance between the trigger and the reaction that you're about to have where that you may be feeling right it may not be outward but just bring your body back to a state of calm when you do that. If you're starting to take some deep breaths and opening up your body you're actually oxygenating your brain right because what happens when we get triggered is we contract, shrink blood flow is not going to the brain as it should so open everything up getting that deep breath going in oxygenates your brain and then you can think clearly.
