The Congo Crisis

The Congo becomes independent around June, in June 1960. But at least Lumova, a left-leaning politician, is elected as Prime Minister and Joseph Casavuu becomes the president. He's first dismissed from his post as prime minister. Then after that, there's a crisis of governance for a longer period of time. And then it comes to an end with the seizure of power by someone called Joseph Zerei Mobutu.
