The Trinity in the New Testament

David Frum: Trinity seems to be a critical and core theological doctrine. He says it's not laid out in scripture as simply or obviously as I might expect or want. What the third and fourth and fifth century fathers expressed in terms of Trinity is expressed in the New Testament very clearly, but not in that philosophical formulation.Frum: In Galatians 4, Paul says that God has rescued us by sending his own son. And then because he's rescued us through the son, he has sent his own spirit to cry Abba Father within us.
