The Myth of the Invasion of Iraq
The idea that this was a purely neo-colonial expedition to seize oil would suggest that this war, the way it went down, would have occurred without 2011. And I just don't think that's true. It is not like George W. Bush came into office in 2001 wanting to go to war. He wanted to be a domestic president and didn't want to spend his time hugging war widows.
