The Importance of George Washington in the History of the United States
George Washington among the few members of his generation were slaveholders who actually through his will free his slaves and provided for their lives. He put real thought into their liberation and you know I suppose we'd be criticizing for not freeing them sooner but the fact that he does it at all makes him pretty singularyou know truly outstanding and unusual.
