The pet food we feed to dogs that comes from vegan plant based alternatives is a product that's supplemented with what the animals need. The process destroys the nutrients and the vitamins which means they have to be supplemented back in. Kidney disease specifically chronic renal failure, liver disease, viral or bacterial infections and neurological neuromuscular diseases were all statistically significantly associated within these cats.
