The History of Mass Media

In the 1920s and 1930s, there's this real consternation about what's happening in Europe, in the United States. As always, a desire by US Americans to avoid the continuity is to avoid Hitler's deep admiration of US propaganda efforts in World War I. But it's like these demagogues use mass media to hypnotize mass audiences into following them. Interest, so historically, I think these analyses help inspire experiments with interactive media,. eventually digital media that are supposed to be more democratic than mass media forms or the crowd form.
