Is the Internet a Threat to Children's Learning?
We have lost the public square, we've lost the commons. The only commons is on Twitter where you have the permission because nobody really knows who you are to be the meanest person in the world. You have not developed the habits of people who used to sit out on their front porches and talk to their neighbors after work. What now seem like quaint experiences but the people are actually hungering for them. And I do think that the tech companies are wildly irresponsible - particularly about it in the lives of children.
