Introduction

In ancient Greece, fabrics for clothes and blankets were all made the same way. A loom is a device used to weave cloth and tapestries. People who did this important work were mostly women known as weavers. To really understand the story of Arachni, you need to get this. Take a look at what you're wearing. If it's the right kind of materialyou may be able to see the tiny threads that are stitched together to make the cloth. Nowadays, that's all done by machine. But thousands of years ago, these threads were woven together by hand on a loom.
