Matt Welch: You talk about real estate a lot, but you also talk about investing in index funds. So I'm curious what your places, your mindset or philosophy is on the balance between real estate and stocks. He says he gets nervous when people say to put money out of 401ks or IRAs to invest in real estate. Welch: For me, I don't do anything else. I'm all real estate outside of my retirement accounts.
