The Future of Artificial Intelligence

There are three reasons, I believe, that we will end up creating artificial intelligence that will replace human intelligence. These are either a systemic bias, a continuation of creation or evolution, or procreation. The most the most interesting however for me is a philosophical thought around humanity's urge to procreate. We just want to continue to pass our genes. And so the next evolutionary step is a more intelligent being, interestingly, non-biological.
