A Terribly Serious Adventure Podcast
The Iris Murdoch Society podcast
The Philosophy of Gia Austen
Nicholas Christian: I think your book reflects that very much both in the way it's produced but also the clarity of the way in which you talk about these figures and their ideas. At the end of each podcast, I always ask guests to recommend a book. If we're trying to find one essay that most represents the tone and style and register of also philosophy in this period, I think that would have to be Gia Austen's A plea for excuses. Or a non-philosophical work, perhaps this is a bit superfluous to the listeners to this podcast, but I think Iris Medox first novel Under the Net is interesting for all sorts of reasons.
