At the end of each podcast, I always ask guests to recommend a book. If we're trying to find one essay that most represents the tone and style and register of also philosophy in this period, I think that would have to be Gia Austen's A plea for excuses. Or a non-philosophical work, perhaps this is a bit superfluous to the listeners to this podcast, but I think Iris Medox first novel Under the Net is interesting for all sorts of reasons.
