The Republican Party ran a platform that is like the political equivalent of like a street preacher. They don't hate unbelievably trans people they like a hard line anti abortion position which again like nobody actually likes. The Republicans spent like $25 million like specifically on ads about trans like trans kids in sports. Democrats will have complete control of the Michigan state government for the first time in 40 years.
