I was really wanting to get better as a writer and Ryan just seemed like an obvious choice because I was like at that time really going down deep in his work. The chapter lengths were like perfect because it was like I'm gonna make this part of my morning routine so it was like all those reasons that seemed like a good book to write by him. He emailed me was like hey could you transcribe this and it was audio of a conversation between him and Robert Green and I just transcribed it sent it back to him over a six month period. It's some for some reason was like lodged in my head and when I read one of Ryan's books that phrase like came back
