The Rise of the Nation State
The nation state is very recent. It wasn't until the last couple hundred years, really, that it became solidified. But now if you project forward, it'll be an even greater one in the next 100 years as the technologies that we're all building build this infrastructure. And what I think happens is hyper localization will happen at the small level of cities and thenhyperplanetization on a large scale.
